Job Overview:
As Manager / Sr. Manager: Logistics, the invidiual will be Carrying out overall logistics matters on a tactical and operation level by collaborating closely with stakeholders (Onitsuka Tiger Headquarter MD & Logistics, Local ASICS logistics providing shared service, and Onitsuka Tiger India team) to avoid sales opportunity loss in line with the business strategies. Acting as a true business partner towards the Onitsuka Tiger India team and Onitsuka Tiger Headquarter logistics team in order to drive the strategy through all aspects of logistics operation such as import, trade and delivery control and warehouse management.
Job Responsibilities:
Trade / Delivery Control
To conduct smooth customs clearance comprehending the latest trading laws and regulations, and make adjustment with the factory/freight forwarder regarding the required documents/packaging methods etc,
Monitor and update promptly of the confirmed vs requested production/delivery schedule of each milestone dates to give each stakeholder a clear picture for production/delivery status for sales deliveries
If any irregular events (ex: production/delivery delay etc) occurs, strictly keep the planned delivery schedule to meet the product launch date of all the categories / all sales channels by proactively identifying the issue and negotiating with stakeholders.
Collect monthly inbound/outbound/return forecasts and plan efficiently
Track on-time delivery (inbound & outbound)
Manage regional transfer actions (exports & imports) within the in-house company
Manage and track sales samples and uniform's production/delivery status to meet the planned delivery date
Draw and propose a simulation plan related to logistics which contributes to the business growth
Warehouse Management
Manage and improve the operation of logistics flow (Inbound receiving, Shipping order, Outbound shipping, Returns, and Post-return operations).
Monitor operation and partner with logistics provider to drive continuous improvement and ensure successful logistics flow through achievement of KPI.
Respond to disposal (supervise WH to ensure on-time completion)
Assist in executing contracts with logistics partners.
Team / Project Management
Lead and manage a logistics project when assigned by Onitsuka Tiger HQ.
Conduct outstanding logistics management/decisions through multi-dimensional approach considering forecast & sales order balance and pull forward & push back methodology to optimize capacities & constraints
Manage logistics cost and invoices
Devise logistics strategies and analyse performance by channel for retail, EC, and wholesale
Assist in managing risks related to logistics and respond to emergency situations (e.g. strikes, natural disasters)
Job Requirement:
A minimum of 8 years of logistics / supply chain management, operation experience
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to work hands-on.
Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Knowledge regarding the trading laws and regulations of India & SEA countries (Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, and Indonesia)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as with external stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Able to adapt to environmental changes and varying needs with flexibility.
Bachelor’s Degree in logistics or supply chain management is preferred
Experience in retail industries such as fashion (apparel/footwear) and cosmetics is preferred.
