Our client is a well‑established multinational manufacturing organization operating across the APAC region, specializing in advanced moveable wall and space‑separation solutions. The company supports multi‑country operations with strong engineering, manufacturing, and commercial capabilities. As part of its regional finance leadership structure, the organization is seeking an experienced Finance & Controlling Manager to strengthen financial governance and business partnering across APAC.

Role Overview
The Finance & Controlling Manager is responsible for leading accounting, financial controlling, budgeting, and forecasting activities for the Moveable Walls segment in APAC. The role plays a key business partnering function, providing financial insights, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic and operational decision‑making across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate financial statements, management reports, and statutory accounts.

• Establish and maintain effective financial controlling structures and processes, implementing corrective actions when required.

• Provide financial insights related to cost optimization, risk management, and market orientation.

• Collaborate with business teams on local business strategies and operational plans, identifying financial priorities and opportunities.

• Support managers and directors in improving financial performance through KPI analysis, management data, benchmarking, and best practices.

• Lead business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and mid‑term planning (MTP), including financial modeling, analysis, and commentary.

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including foreign currency financial reporting requirements in Malaysia and Australia.

• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial risk management activities for MW APAC.

• Oversee finance‑related IT matters, including SAP and financial systems governance.

• Accounting & Reporting: Timely, accurate, and compliant financial accounts and reports

• Controlling & Compliance: Adherence to financial policies, controls, and regulatory standards

• Forecasting & Planning: Accurate forecasts, annual budgets, and mid‑term plans (MTP)

• Risk Management: Early identification and mitigation of financial and operational risks

• Cost & Budget Management: Effective budgetary control and continuous cost optimization

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, ACCA or related field. 

• Minimum 15 years of experience in finance and controlling, preferably in a regional or multinational manufacturing environment.

• Strong expertise in accounting, controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering.

• Experience managing mid‑term planning (MTP) and performance management processes.

• Solid understanding of compliance, including foreign currency reporting requirements.

• Hands‑on experience with SAP and finance‑related IT systems.

• Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to operate effectively in a multi‑country APAC environment.
