Our Client is a leading manufacturer of precision‑engineered components, providing end‑to‑end solutions for global regions across Singapore, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Japan, and North America.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement contamination control strategies across precision metal processing operations to meet customer and industry cleanliness standards.
Manage cleanroom operations, including environmental monitoring, classification compliance, gowning procedures, airflow/pressure controls, and periodic qualification activities.
Establish contamination testing and monitoring programs, covering particulate, ionic, organic, chemical, and microbiological contaminants across production processes.
Identify contamination sources from lubricants, coolants, chemicals, equipment, tooling, packaging, and operator handling—leading initiatives to eliminate or minimize risks.
Lead root-cause investigations for contamination‑related defects using engineering tools (FMEA, 8D, SPC) and drive corrective and preventive actions to improve yield.
Develop and enforce contamination‑related SOPs, including cleaning, degreasing, material handling, equipment maintenance, and surface treatment protocols.
Collaborate with Production, QA, Maintenance, and Engineering to optimize process flows, improve environmental controls, and ensure compliance with ISO/IEST cleanliness standards.
Train and supervise cleanroom & contamination control personnel, ensuring high competency levels and consistent execution of contamination prevention practices.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related fields.
Preferably with at least 8 years of experience in contamination control, cleanroom management, or chemical lab management, exposure to precision components manufacturing would be added advantage.
Strong leadership and communication skills to lead contamination control & improvement programs as well as collaborating with relevant departments.
