Job Title: Logistic Specialist - Semiconductor
Location: Singapore
Your New Company A global technology leader in the semiconductor and electronics industry is expanding its supply chain and logistics operations in Singapore. The organization operates in a highly advanced, multi‑country environment and is known for its precision, reliability, and commitment to operational excellence across worldwide operations.
Your New Role As a Logistics Specialist, you will support and optimize end‑to‑end logistics operations across multiple regions. This role focuses on improving supply chain efficiency, managing logistics partners, driving process improvements, and supporting global stakeholders through strong data, systems, and cross‑functional collaboration.
You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure warehousing, transportation, and inventory processes operate efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in line with global standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Logistics Operations & Supply Chain Management
Oversee and continuously improve logistics processes across warehousing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Support logistics operations in a multi‑country and global (WW) environment. Monitor logistics performance, service quality, and operational effectiveness.
2. Vendor & Partner Management
Manage and work closely with transportation providers and warehousing partners.
Ensure supplier performance, contract compliance, and cost efficiency.
Participate in evaluating transportation, warehousing, and inventory‑related costs against budget and distribution strategies.
3. Process Improvement & Systems
Drive process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance service delivery.
Support logistics process engineering within ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
Identify opportunities for automation and digital tools to improve logistics workflows.
4. Data, Reporting & Analysis
Collect, analyze, and interpret logistics and supply chain data.
Prepare management reports covering performance, cost, and operational metrics.
Support decision‑making through data‑driven insights.
5. Cross‑Functional & Regional Support
Act as a key support contact for regional and global stakeholders.
Participate in and support cross‑functional initiatives across supply chain, operations, and finance.
Provide flexible support to global customers and regional teams when required.
Qualifications
3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations roles.
Experience in semiconductor, electronics, or high‑tech manufacturing environments is an advantage.
Hands‑on knowledge of logistics processes, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
Familiarity with Oracle or similar ERP systems preferred.
General understanding of cross‑border trade compliance and logistics regulations.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with operational data and reports.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across regions and cultures.
Well‑organised, self‑driven, and adaptable to managing multiple priorities.
Exposure to project management or robotic process automation (RPA) is an added advantage.
