This is a business-facing HR Business Partner role supporting leaders within a mature Japan organization of a global healthcare and life sciences firm. The position combines hands-on HR delivery with strategic partnering in a highly professional, international environment.Client Details

- Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to designated business units in Japan
- Provide hands-on support across core HR areas including employee relations, performance management, and talent management
- Partner with business leaders on workforce planning and organizational initiatives
- Support the implementation of HR programs aligned with regional and global frameworks
- Collaborate closely with regional and global HR teams, COEs, and shared services
- Contribute to change initiatives within a structured and compliant corporate environment
- Balance day-to-day HR support with a strategic, business-oriented mindset
Job Offer
- Solid experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR Generalist in a professional corporate environment
- Industry exposure to healthcare, life sciences, consulting, or similarly complex organizations is preferred
- Native-level Japanese or equivalent fluency (N1), with business-level English for daily collaboration
- Strong understanding of Japanese corporate culture and employment practices
- Confident communicator able to influence stakeholders in a respectful and professional manner
- Comfortable working in a matrix organization with regional and global interfaces
- Hands-on, reliable, and proactive working style
