To support its expanding digital manufacturing capabilities, the organization is seeking a MES Engineer to join its team. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth factory operations, system optimization, and seamless data flow across critical production systems.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the MES system, including troubleshooting abnormalities, managing user access/permissions, and resolving system-related issues.
Gather and analyze business requirements from various departments; map and optimize business processes; design feasible system solutions and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance MES system functionality.
Conduct functional testing, prepare user documentation, deliver user training, and collect/track system issues for continuous improvement.
Design and develop statistical reports and dashboards based on user requirements to improve operational visibility and management efficiency.
Ensure data integration, synchronization, and stability between MES and peripheral systems (e.g., WMS, ERP); monitor and handle interface data issues.
Regularly summarize recurring issues, refine troubleshooting procedures, and build a structured knowledge base to share with plant personnel to enhance overall system operation and maintenance capabilities.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, or other database technologies; proficient in SQL programming.
Familiar with common IT project tools and methodologies.
Experience with Siemens Opcenter MES is an added advantage.
