Purpose of the Role
To manage sourcing and procurement activities for new and existing machined parts by identifying reliable suppliers, ensuring cost‑effective procurement, supporting new product development, and driving continuous cost‑reduction initiatives while maintaining the required quality and delivery standards.

Knowledge Requirements
Sourcing and procurement processes
New part development: identifying, qualifying, and developing suppliers to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets
Cost estimation of machined parts and preparation of cost‑down proposals
Process analysis for cost‑saving and efficiency improvement opportunities
Identification and mitigation of cost‑related risks
Strong vendor and supplier relationship management
Key Responsibilities
Research, identify, and evaluate potential suppliers
Qualify and improve suppliers for new product development, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations
Perform accurate part cost estimation and prepare cost‑reduction ideas and proposals
Analyze processes to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency enhancements
Develop mitigation strategies for cost‑related risks
Build and maintain strong, long‑term supplier relationships
Conduct zero‑base cost estimation for functional parts
Skills Required
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, QMS, and problem‑solving methodologies
Experience in purchase development, cost management, and supplier management
Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, and related tools
