A company in the IT services industry is hiring for a Project Leader/BrSE position.

Job Description

• Lead and manage implementation projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client expectations

• Oversee project teams by assigning tasks, tracking progress, and maintaining high standards of quality throughout the delivery lifecycle

• Develop project plans, estimate workload, and ensure delivery within defined scope, budget, and timelines

• Monitor project performance through accurate reporting, including risk management, change control, and financial oversight

• Support the growth and development of team members through coaching, training, and career planning

• Ensure successful project execution across quality, cost, and schedule requirements

• Maintain clear and effective communication with internal stakeholders and external Japanese clients, fostering strong working relationships

• Handle additional responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  More than 5 years of experience in software development, including at least 2 years in project management for the Japanese market

• Strong capabilities in project estimation, quality assurance, resource planning, and risk management

• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile/Scrum

• Experience in developing and deploying web-based applications using Java Spring Framework or C# ASP.NET is advantageous, particularly in domains such as insurance or healthcare solutions

• Possession of PMP or ACP certification is preferred, along with willingness to travel internationally

• Proficiency in Japanese at JLPT N2 level or higher

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management abilities

• Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with Japanese clients

• Strong presentation skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships
