Join a dynamic energy trading firm operating across global power and commodity markets. As a Settlement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and executing settlements for both physical and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.

This role offers the opportunity to leverage your experience in financial operations or back-office settlements within a fast-evolving energy and commodities trading environment, working closely with cross-border counterparties and internal stakeholders.

• Verify and correct transaction data in internal systems to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and manage trade confirmations with counterparties after deal execution
• Validate incoming invoices and ensure timely and accurate settlement processing
• Investigate discrepancies in invoices and settlements, implementing corrective and preventive measures
• Execute settlements for exchange-traded and OTC power and commodity transactions
• Support monthly and periodic financial closing processes
• Contribute to workflow improvements and settlement process optimization

必須条件 経験・資格：

• 金融商品、コモディティ、デリバティブ等に関する決済・セトルメント、クリアリング、またはオペレーション経験
• 決済の業務フローや関連規制、システムに関する基礎知識

• 複数ステークホルダーと円滑に連携できるコミュニケーション力
• 迅速・正確に業務を進める処理能力
• 向上心、向学心

• 日本語：ビジネスレベル以上
• 英語：ビジネスレベル

• 日本の電力市場や、決済フレームワークに関する知識
• 契約書における決済・支払条件条項の理解

• Experience in settlements, clearing, or back-office operations related to financial instruments, commodities, or derivatives
• Practical knowledge of transaction processing within trading or financial services environments

• Clear and professional communication skills across multiple stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced trading environment

• Japanese: Intermediate to Business level (written and spoken)
• English: Intermediate to Business level (written and spoken)

• Knowledge of the Japanese power market and related settlement frameworks
• Familiarity with contract clauses related to settlement, clearing, and payment terms

• Exposure to cross-border counterparties and international trading operations
