The role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and performance of complex ETL pipelines and data warehouse environments through rigorous testing, SQL-based validation, and end‑to‑end data quality checks. It also involves working with modern data platforms and ETL tools while contributing to automation, performance testing, and CI/CD‑driven data quality processes.

Description

• Perform end-to-end testing of ETL pipelines, validating data completeness, accuracy, integrity, and schema alignment across multiple data sources and platforms.
• Develop test plans, strategies, and detailed test cases for data migrations, data warehousing processes, and large-scale data quality initiatives.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries to perform source-to-target reconciliation and troubleshoot data discrepancies in heterogeneous database environments.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to support performance testing, optimize data workflows, and contribute to automation and CI/CD-driven data quality improvements.

• Brings 4+ years of hands-on experience in ETL/Data testing, with strong mastery of SQL for complex validation and data reconciliation tasks.
• Demonstrates solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT workflows, and testing methodologies across modern cloud and on‑premise data platforms.
• Able to collaborate effectively with technical teams, proactively troubleshoot data issues, and contribute to performance testing and automation initiatives.
• Possesses conversational-level Japanese and strong communication skills to coordinate with local stakeholders and global teams in a hybrid environment.
