Job Description
- The Environmental Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, overseeing site inspections, and supporting environmental management plans throughout construction phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement environmental policies and ensure compliance with DOE, EIA, EMP requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and follow-up actions.
- Prepare environmental reports for management and authorities.
- Monitor waste management, pollution control, erosion & sediment control.
- Liaise with authorities, clients, and consultants on environmental matters.
- Conduct environmental awareness training and toolbox sessions.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Environmental Science/Engineering.
- Experience in environmental compliance, reporting, or site monitoring.
- Knowledge of Malaysian environmental regulations.
