Company and Job Overview
Our client is a company specializing in the sales, marketing, and technical support of industrial electronic components. To strengthen their Infrastructure team, they are looking to hire an IT Assistant Manager with strong expertise in infrastructure solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all key IT infrastructure components, including network systems, servers, and storage environments
• Collaborates closely with cross‑functional IT teams—such as application development and cybersecurity—to ensure the infrastructure effectively supports new technologies and business initiatives
• Manages the daily operational activities and project tasks within the IT Infrastructure team to ensure smooth and efficient delivery
• Handles both internal and external communications and serves as the primary escalation contact for business‑related technical issues
• Supports the management of relationships with external vendors, partners, and service providers to ensure reliable delivery of IT solutions and services

Job Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline

• Possesses a minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT management, particularly in areas such as network and server administration, cybersecurity, and IT compliance

• Demonstrated experience in leading an IT operations team or managing operational functions within an IT environment

• Strong technical expertise across IT systems, including both hardware and software components

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with customers, team members, peers, and senior leadership

• Skilled in facilitation and project management, with the capability to oversee and deliver projects efficiently

• Proven people management abilities, including team supervision, coaching, and performance management

• Must be a Malaysian citizen or possess valid residency status
