Associate Compliance Officer アソシエイトコンプライアンスオフィサー - Regulatory Compliance (Up to 15M, Hybrid)



Our client, a company in the asset management industry, is seeking a Native Japanese Associate/Junior Compliance Officer to join their compliance team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Compliance in Japan, providing regulatory advice and supporting investment compliance initiatives. The position offers a competitive base salary of up to 15M and a hybrid work setup.


Key Responsibilities:

• - Review sales materials and external communications for compliance
• - Provide regulatory advice on business issues
• - Support implementation of financial crime compliance frameworks
• - Revise and publicize internal compliance rules
• - Assist in contract analysis for investment compliance
• - Participate in regional and global compliance projects
• - Manage relationships with regulators and internal clients

Qualifications:

• - Native Japanese language proficiency (mandatory)
• - 3+ years compliance experience in asset management (preferred)
• - 3+ years experience in financial services or investment firm (preferred)
• - Business English communication skills (preferred)
• - Knowledge of Japanese financial regulations and compliance standards
• - Experience with regulatory frameworks and internal controls
• - Ability to manage relationships with regulators and internal clients
