About the Role
We are seeking a visionary, results-oriented Managing Director, Southeast Asia (SEA) to lead a regional nonstick coatings business. This executive role oversees strategy, operations, commercial growth, and organizational leadership across multiple Southeast Asian markets.
You will steer all core functions—including Sales, Operations, Production, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR—to achieve sustainable growth, profitability, innovation, and strong market positioning.
Ideal candidates come from chemical manufacturing, coatings, or broader industrial materials sectors.
Key Responsibilities
A. Strategic Leadership:
Define and execute the region’s long-term strategic vision and mission.
Identify and pursue growth opportunities across ASEAN, with strong focus on Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
Develop strategies for product diversification, expanding from consumer applications into high-potential industrial segments.
Lead innovation, sustainability initiatives, and technology-driven advancements.
Support expansion into new verticals including industrial, OEM, electronics, marine, automotive, de-molding, medical, and UV-related applications.
B. P&L Ownership & Financial Management:
Hold full P&L responsibility for the regional business.
Drive revenue growth, profitability, and effective cost management.
Oversee budgets, financial planning, and KPI governance.
Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal governance requirements.
C. Operations & Manufacturing Excellence:
Oversee manufacturing facilities, production planning, quality assurance, and process safety.
Implement lean manufacturing, optimization, and automation initiatives.
Ensure strict adherence to EHS standards, sustainability requirements, and zero-defect manufacturing principles.
Strengthen supply chain performance, raw material sourcing, and vendor management.
D. Sales & Market Development:
Set and deliver annual revenue, volume, and margin targets.
Build and develop distributor networks and OEM partnerships where needed.
Stay actively engaged in key account management and customer relationships.
Monitor market trends, competitive intelligence, and pricing frameworks.
Lead expansion of the business footprint across the ASEAN region and enhance brand positioning.
