Company and Job Overview
A leading company in the general trading industry, with diversified business activities across various sectors and regions, is seeking a Sales Executive / Assistant Manager to join their Chemicals Department.

Job Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through consistent communication, providing market trend updates, proposing efficient logistics and financial solutions, resolving issues, negotiating terms and pricing, and closing deals to support revenue growth
• Develop new products or business fields by conducting market research and analysis, including customer visits and industry assessments
• Identify customer needs, usage patterns, and competitor activities to continuously improve and sustain market share
• Ensure timely payment collection from customers
• Handle ad‑hoc projects assigned by the Company as needed
• Adhere to all compliance requirements and Company policies                                                                                                         

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Degree in any field
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the chemicals industry
• Preferably experienced in Chemicals, with existing business connections and experience in Petrochemicals, Surfactants, Palm, and Oleo industries
• Well‑versed in import and export foreign trade processes

• Self‑motivated, hardworking, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

   

• Must possess own transport and be willing to travel locally and regionally
• Must be a Malaysian citizen or possess valid residency status
