Position: Operations Manager (Heavy Machine Department).
Salary: 60,000 – 80,000THB +/- (Negotiable)
Location: Prachinburi
Our client is big brand manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities of the position:
Responsible for the strategic oversight and daily execution of all heavy equipment operations. This includes fleet procurement, maintenance scheduling, personnel management, and ensuring that all project whether construction, mining, or industrial have the machinery they need to stay on schedule and under budget.
Lifecycle Planning: Oversee the acquisition, deployment, and decommissioning of heavy assets (excavators, cranes, dozers, etc.).
Utilization Tracking: Monitor telematics and GPS data to ensure equipment is being used efficiently and not sitting idle.
Inventory Control: Manage the inventory of critical spare parts and specialized
Preventative Maintenance (PM): Develop and enforce rigorous PM schedules to minimize unplanned breakdowns.
Budgeting: Manage the department’s OpEx (repairs, fuel, labor) and CapEx (new equipment purchases).
Cost-Benefit Analysis: Determine when it is more economical to repair an old asset versus replacing it.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or Business.
Experience: 8–10 years in heavy equipment operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency technical support and heavy machine knowledge.
