Job Description
A long-established Japanese manufacturer that has been in business for 75 years. Our main business is the manufacture of chemical products, lubricants, engine oils, etc. In particular, many of our products are for the automotive industry, and we offer automotive chemical products such as lubricants and cleaning agents. The company has a base in Germany and a global manufacturing and sales network.
They are seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our IT department in Dormagen / Düsseldorf.
In this role, you will drive process optimization, digital transformation, and AI adoption while acting as a key partner between business teams and global IT.
Lead Digital & AI Transformation: Leverage Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, and AI tools to drive meaningful improvements
High Degree of Ownership: Influence both local German operations and global initiatives through close collaboration with global IT (US)
A career‑enhancing hybrid role combining strategy, technology, and operational excellence
International Environment: Collaborate across Germany, Japan, and global teams
Japanese language is a plus, making it a great fit for bilingual / multilingual professionals
JOB REQUIREMENTS
COMPETENCY (“Must”)
Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience
Practical experience in Business or System Analysis
Experience with Microsoft services (Microsoft 365, Azure) and ability to implement process improvements
Strong documentation skills for workflows and processes
Excellent communication skills in English
Experience with AI/RPA tools such as Power Automate, M365 Copilot, UiPath
Initial experience leading digitalization or AI‑related projects
Business level German or Japanese language skills
