POSITION TITLE R&D Engineer (Feeding Equipment / Heavy Machinery)
POSITION SUMMARY
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on the development of large-scale machinery such as TMR mixers, feeding vehicles, and intelligent feeding systems. You will lead localization and improvement efforts for the North American market at a company recognized for its high technical capabilities compared to both domestic and international competitors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support R&D and engineering improvements for feeding equipment
Drive product localization for the North American market, including structural optimization, component selection, and system adaptation
Collaborate with manufacturing, technical support, and after-sales teams to resolve field issues and incorporate feedback into design improvements
Assist with prototype development, testing, validation, and performance optimization
Support engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, technical specifications, and design change records
Ensure designs comply with relevant North American standards and safety requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
3–5 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or equipment engineering
Background in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields
Experience with agricultural machinery, industrial equipment, or heavy mechanical systems preferred
Knowledge of hydraulic systems, drivetrains, mechanical structures, and manufacturing processes
Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on engineering mindset
Ability to collaborate across functions in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
LOCATION Ontario, California
SALARY USD100,000-140,000 (based on experience and skills)
