Job Summary
We are looking for a Service Engineer to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and technical support for Building Management System (BMS) installations. This role involves both scheduled and reactive service work, system optimization, and close communication with clients to ensure reliable building automation operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform scheduled & reactive maintenance on BMS systems (HVAC controls, lighting control, energy monitoring).

• Diagnose and repair BMS hardware/software faults.

• Configure and commission controllers, sensors, and field devices.

• Perform system upgrades, patches, and firmware updates.

• Optimize system performance for comfort and energy efficiency.

• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver quality service.

• Prepare service reports, documentation, and system schematics.

• Provide technical support and training to clients.

• Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.

• Assist in preparing Operation & Maintenance Manuals.

• Attend meetings and help resolve engineering/ technical issues.

• Maintain customer satisfaction and handle complaints professionally.

• Support after‑sales service with sales team when needed.

• Maintain good teamwork and communication across departments.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical & Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

• Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (especially HVAC controls) is an advantage.

• Proficiency with BMS communication protocols (BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus) preferred.

• Good communication skills in BM & English (Japanese is an added advantage).

• Strong skills in planning, organization, follow‑up, problem solving, and customer handling.

• Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently and under pressure.

• Willing to travel for site work and customer meetings.

• Must possess own transport and a valid driving licence.
