A company in the software development industry is hiring for a Bridge Software Engineer position.

Job Description

• Collect, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications, user stories, and use cases

• Act as a bridge between clients and offshore development teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle

• Participate in solution design by contributing insights on technical feasibility, cloud-based requirements, and system architecture

• Create and maintain project documentation such as requirement documents and specifications, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Collaborate with QA teams to support testing activities and ensure solutions meet defined requirements

• Support project planning by assisting with scope definition, estimation, risk identification, and issue resolution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

• Professional experience in software development and experience in a bridge engineer, business analyst, or similar role involving requirements analysis

• Experience with cloud services and familiarity with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS

• Strong Japanese language proficiency and English communication ability

• Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail

• Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

• Knowledge of documentation practices, database concepts, SQL, API integrations, and web services
