Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Project Lead to manage New Product Introduction (NPI) projects for electronic devices. This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams and aligning both internal stakeholders and external customers throughout the full product lifecycle—from concept to mass production. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and a strategic mindset to assess risks, develop mitigation plans, and deliver successful outcomes on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the entire NPI project lifecycle, from project kickoff through design transfer to volume manufacturing.

• Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and external customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals, deliverables, and timelines.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, milestones, resource planning, and cost tracking.

• Conduct regular risk assessments, proactively identifying potential issues and developing strategic mitigation and contingency plans.

• Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, quality, manufacturing, and suppliers.

• Monitor and report on project status, providing timely updates and escalation to internal leadership and customers.

• Drive adherence to project deliverables, including DFM reviews, Engineering builds, validation testing, and Engineering production line readiness.

• Support customer inquiries and problem-solving with a logical, structured communication style and an understanding of technical constraints and trade-offs.

• Ensure documentation, change control, and quality requirements are met in line with NPI processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Finance, Business Administration,…

• 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing or development, strong background in New Product Introduction (NPI) is preferred.

• Proven experience in leading cross-functional electronics projects from design to manufacturing handover.

• Strong skills in project planning, risk management, and critical path analysis.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (TOEIC 750+). Proficiency in Chinese (HSK 4+) or Japanese (N3 +) is a significant plus.

• Ability to lead structured discussions with customers, address concerns with confidence, and align internal teams accordingly.

• Familiarity with PCB, SMT, and embedded systems manufacturing processes.

• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Jira, or equivalents).

Preferred Experience:

• Hands-on experience with DFM, DFT, BOM management, and process validation and DOE (Design of Experiment).

• Exposure to global supply chains and contract manufacturing environments.

• Understanding of regulatory and quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or equivalent.
