A technology and engineering solutions company based in Shah Alam is looking for an Engineer for R&D, IoT, & Cybersecurity to support its growing portfolio of smart, connected products. The role will focus on evaluating new IoT innovations, ensuring cybersecurity compliance, supporting customers with technical inquiries, and collaborating closely with product development teams to deliver reliable and secure solutions to the market. 

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the IoT R&D team with evaluating new product features and testing prototypes.

• Support cybersecurity compliance activities, including reviewing risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.

• Prepare and maintain documentation related to new product development and system updates.

• Provide technical guidance to customers and internal teams on IoT and cybersecurity-related inquiries.

• Troubleshoot and follow up on after‑sales technical issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.

• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and partners to resolve product-related concerns and monitor IoT system performance.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.

• Basic understanding of computer networking (e.g., DHCP, TCP/IP, routers).

• Knowledge of threat analysis, risk assessment, and vulnerability validation.

• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.

• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
