Japanese food company in UK is looking for the supply chain executive
TYPE: permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm
START: 2nd of March 2026
Hybrid working style: Tuesday and Thursday at office, the other days work from home
Supply Chain and Production Management Executive
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee end-to-end production operations to ensure smooth workflows, on-time delivery, and adherence to quality standards
Plan, develop, and implement production schedules to meet manufacturing targets efficiently
Conduct detailed demand forecasting and analysis to determine production volumes and material requirements
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives
Manage and maintain strong relationships with outsourced manufacturing partners
Ensure effective control and optimization of raw materials, components, and finished goods inventory
Continuously evaluate and improve production and supply chain processes to enhance operational efficiency
Build and promote a collaborative, high-performance team culture
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on production performance, supply chain metrics, and demand forecasts
Familiarity with Japanese culture is an added advantage.
