About the Role
The Senior Manager will serve as a strategic advisor and operational leader, supporting the General Manager and ensuring smooth collaboration between Thai and Japanese stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership, cross-cultural communication, and deep industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational support to the General Manager across all business functions.
Act as a liaison between the company and Japanese customers, headquarters in Japan, and Japanese suppliers.
Lead cross-functional projects to improve operational efficiency and quality standards.
Support business planning, budgeting, and financial control activities in collaboration with relevant departments.
Oversee compliance with corporate governance, safety, and quality standards.
Facilitate communication and cultural understanding between Thai and Japanese teams.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.
Represent the company in high-level meetings with customers, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
Mentor and develop mid-level managers to strengthen leadership capabilities within the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
At least 5 years of experience in a senior management role within a manufacturing environment (e.g., General Manager, Plant Manager, Quality Manager, Planning Manager).
Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive or auto parts industry.
Fluency in both Japanese and English for business communication (mandatory).
Strong expertise in lean manufacturing principles, including Kaizen and Six Sigma methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-cultural teams and collaborate with international stakeholders.
Proven success in strategic planning, execution, and driving operational excellence.
