Role and responsibilities:
- Carrier services platform feature design and development
- Development from requirements gathering phase to releasing the application to production
- Evaluate existing methods and drive continuous process improvements

Required Skills
Required Skills:
- Programming Skills: Proficient in Java 8 and above, Spring, Cassandra, Oracle, REST API, JPA, Hibernate, Microservice
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise Java development
- Excellent written and oral communication in Japanese (JLPT N2 Level or higher) and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English is desirable (At least basic English communication skill is fine)
- Hands on Java Engineer capable of developing quality code
- Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms
- Experienced in delivering advanced solutions for a multi-tier, distributed web application
- Experienced in crafting and implementing REST API
- Proven strong problem solving and debugging skills
- Experienced in developing applications that utilize relational databases (e.g. Oracle) and other less structured data stores (NoSQL)
- Ability to articulate the benefits of Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration
- Knowledge of data modeling using Oracle and Cassandra databases
- Equally valuable is experience in building low latency service APIs, and data aggregation pipelines
