Location: Inzai, Chiba

We are hiring a Data Center Project Manager to lead construction, expansion, and refurbishment projects for mission-critical data center facilities in Japan. This role works closely with local vendors and global stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on time, and within scope.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of data center construction and upgrade projects
• Oversee facility-related designs including building, electrical power, UPS, generators, and HVAC systems
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and facility vendors
• Control schedule, cost, quality, and project risks
• Serve as the main contact for clients and internal stakeholders
• Communicate with overseas teams in English
• Prepare and manage project documentation in Japanese and English

Requirements

• Native-level Japanese and business-level English
• Strong understanding of construction, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Experience working with contractors, design firms, and facility vendors

Preferred

• Hands-on experience in data center design, build, or operations
• Project management or engineering-related certifications
• Experience working on global or cross-border projects
