Role: Electrical Estimator / Estimation Engineer
Location: Shah Alam
Client: Established Electrical & M&E Contractor
Overview
Our client is a well-established Electrical & M&E engineering contractor seeking an Electrical Estimator / Estimation Engineer to strengthen their tendering and pre-contract team. This role focuses on cost estimation, technical evaluation, and tender submissions for industrial and commercial projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate electrical and M&E cost estimates for tenders
- Quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
- Evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
- Attend tender briefings and site visits
- Provide technical support to project and procurement teams
- Support cost monitoring during project execution
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Electrical or M&E estimation
- Strong exposure to 33kV / 11kV systems, ELV, cable sizing, and lighting design
- Familiar with Malaysian electrical codes and practices
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work under tight deadlines
