■JOB SUMMARY
Primary Purpose / Regulatory Responsibilities:
This position is primarily accountable for supply continuity by meeting service level targets set by Global Supply Chain through:
Delivery of FG’s demand plans and risk based coverage targets for global products to the Global Master Planner
Assuring alignment of supplier replenishment plans at Sales and Operations Planning (S OP) level
Key responsibilities include review of risk based FG’s replenishment plans API/Bulk Materials S OP plans for local and global products management of local product CMO’s Logistics Inventory Management Labeling/AW change implementation control and Master Data Management. Performance associated with these responsibilities is primarily reflected in key metrics for product availability forecast accuracy inventory level and ‘cost to serve’ as well as on time delivery of key
Secondary accountabilities include KPI reporting SAP LKU activities including implementation and project management. Effective project planning execution and reporting will be required to deliver defined tactical objectives.
■MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
To deliver best in class service and build a smooth flowing and optimal supply chain system for procurement production and supply in order to ensure stable supply for patients.
Ensure forecasting excellence including organization of regular demand review meetings close collaboration/swift communication with Global Master Planning adherence to global process rules for OMP and close collaboration with partners.
Ensure Alignment with Budget Sales Country LE sales submissions and OMP forecasts
Ensure continuous interactions with partners including contract management maintenance of supply continuity and forecast accuracy.
Proactively managing the relationships with supply partners as well as network CMO’s and the relationships with UCB sites at S OP level to build and preserve strong collaborative/supportive interactions that maintain supply continuity even under challenging circumstances.
Responsible for the material master and the grouping structure of the country. For global products this must be fully aligned with global Master Data Management. Ensure compliance with Marketing Authorizations.
Monitor and discuss performance at local Demand Review meetings.
Effective life cycle management of labeling changes including review and approval of affiliate change control packages management of implementation requirements with supply sites and providing direct support to Regulatory on MOH reporting requirements (supplying label samples implementation dates and discontinuation dates).
Contribute project management coordination for global/local project

Effective operational planning and project/process management skills are essential for this position.
Must possess the ability to balance multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision.
Requires excellent communication (oral and written) diplomatic interpersonal presentation and organizational skills.
Must be effective at leading / influencing non subordinate cross functional work teams as well as formal project teams.
Must be a demonstrated “change agent” capable of devising change strategies and leading others through major change initiatives.
Know how with basic quality engineering tools process management and process improvement techniques is highly desirable.
Must combine both analytic and synthetic approaches to identify optimal (compliant and efficient) solutions to complex system problems.
Must be self directed in defining a problem (what it is / is not) identifying root cause defining solutions and selecting the most appropriate and checking the effectiveness of the best solution post implementation.
Must be able to apply appropriate techniques in data collection and analysis to prevent erroneous assumptions/conclusions.
