A global investment bank is seeking an experienced LBO expert to launch and lead its Japan leveraged buyout (LBO) platform. This strategic role will focus on originating and executing complex transactions while building strong relationships with sponsors, investors, and internal global teams. Ideal for a senior dealmaker ready to take the lead in shaping Japan's LBO market footprint.

• Lead the LBO strategy and business development in Japan
• Originate, structure, and execute complex leveraged buyouts and financing transactions
• Design senior, mezzanine, and cross-border capital solutions
• Build and manage relationships with private equity sponsors, lenders, and investors
• Lead due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and governance across transactions
• Coordinate with APAC, EMEA, and US teams on cross-regional mandates
• Drive portfolio management, value creation, and exit planning

必須条件 経験・資格：

• プライベートエクイティ、LBOファイナンス、アクイジションファイナンス、またはスポンサーカバレッジの経験10年以上
• 複雑なLBO、またはレバレッジドM&A案件のエクセキューション経験

• 10-15+ years in private equity, leveraged finance, acquisition finance, or sponsor coverage
• Proven record in executing leveraged M&A or complex LBO deals
• Deep financial modelling, structuring, and valuation expertise
• Strong understanding of the Japanese corporate and regulatory environment
• Track record of building and influencing stakeholder relationships

• Strategic and commercial mindset with strong leadership presence
• Skilled in senior stakeholder management, negotiation, and team leadership
• Adaptable, collaborative, and proactive under high-pressure environments

• Japanese: Native
• English: Fluent

• Experience in capital markets, mezzanine finance, or debt structuring
• Familiarity with advanced deal analytics tools and financial modelling platforms
