Business System Analyst-Data/System Analytics

1. Collaborate with users and project team on requirements and expectations
2. Analyze business requirements, create proper data solutions that meets functional and non-functional requirements
3. Analyze existing system to find the original source data based on business requirements
4. Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows
5. Guide System Analysts, Engineers, Programmers and others on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
6. Discover metadata of the source database, including value patterns and distributions, key candidates, foreign-key candidates, and functional dependencies
7. Design logical and physical data models
8. Create design documents including FRD
9. Prepare test cases, test data, and capture test evidence.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent experience is ideal

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in system development or business system analyst role

• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects

• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills

Skills:

• Strong data/system analytics skills using various coding language

• Good knowledge of Oracle database, MS-SQL Server, MongoDB, Linux, networking

• Data structures and data management knowledge and proven experience

• Extended knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem

• Exposure to new platforms and adapt to a continuous evolving ecosystem of multiple moving components involving Hive, HBase, Zeppelin, Spark, Livy, Solr

• Good problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
