Infrastructure Engineer @ fintech

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and operate cloud (AWS) and on-premises infrastructure
• Monitor and manage systems using Datadog, set alerts, handle incidents (incident response, postmortem)
• Evaluate application and infrastructure performance
• Optimize performance and create supporting mechanisms
• Implement measures for detecting and preventing failures
• Improve service reliability (define and manage SLI/SLO, continuous performance improvement)
• Security operations and compliance for infrastructure
• Build platforms for development teams to maximize productivity (CI/CD, development, and test environments)
• Review system designs for availability and reliability from the planning stage
• Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations

Required Skills / Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure design and operations
• Basic knowledge and experience with Linux, Networking, Security
• Experience using, designing, and operating AWS
• Experience with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes or ECS
• Experience building monitoring environments using observability tools
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
• Experience with Git-based development and code review

Preferred Skills / Experience:

• Strategic planning skills
• Experience operating multi-tenant Kubernetes environments
• Extensive experience in incident management for web services
• Experience as an SRE in a web service company
• Large-scale service operation experience on AWS
• CI/CD pipeline construction experience
• Web service monitoring and operations experience
• Capacity planning and performance tuning experience
• MySQL operation experience (version upgrades, replication, etc.)
• AI development or AI tool utilization experience (Money Forward plans to integrate AI agents across all products)

Language Skills:

• Japanese: Conversational or JLPT N3 equivalent
• English: Business
