• ビジネスインサイト創出のための機械学習モデル開発のリード
• 複雑なビジネス課題に対応する分析フレームワークの設計
• プロジェクト計画、スケジュール・品質、成果物の管理
• 目的に合ったモデリングアプローチの選定（ビジネス・技術チームと連携）
• ジュニアデータサイエンティストの指導、ベストプラクティスの浸透
• 非技術系ステークホルダー向けに分析結果を分かりやすく構造的に説明すること

This role offers the opportunity to lead advanced AI and machine learning initiatives within a global life sciences environment. As a Principal AI Scientist, you will design analytical frameworks, build scalable machine learning models, and deliver data-driven insights that support high-impact business decisions. You will collaborate with both technical and business teams to align model development with strategic objectives while guiding junior data scientists and ensuring best-in-class project execution.

• Lead the development of machine learning models that generate actionable business insights.
• Design analytical frameworks to address complex commercial and operational challenges.
• Manage project plans, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of data science outputs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to align modelling approaches with organizational goals.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists on modelling techniques, workflows, and best practices.
• Communicate analytical results to non-technical stakeholders in clear, concise, and structured formats.

必須条件 経験・資格：

• データサイエンス、または機械学習プロジェクトのリード経験
• ビジネス部門と技術部門の橋渡し役としての調整経験
• リソースが限られる環境で複数タスクを優先順位付けして管理した経験
• Pythonおよび関連MLライブラリを用いたモデル開発経験
• バージョン管理ツールを使用した共同開発経験

• 複雑な概念をわかりやすく説明できる能力
• 自律的なタスク整理・スケジュール管理能力
• 多様なチームと連携するコラボレーション能力
• 優れた分析力、問題解決能力

• 日本語：流暢
• 英語：中級〜ビジネスレベル

• クラウド環境でのモデルデプロイ経験
• 製薬・医療機器・ライフサイエンス業界、またはコンサルタントとしてデータ活用を推進する業務に従事した経験
• コンピュータサイエンスや関連分野の院卒歓迎

• Proven experience leading data science or machine learning projects.
• Experience coordinating work between technical teams and business units.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and prioritize effectively under limited resources.
• Hands-on experience developing ML models using Python and associated libraries.
• Experience with version control tools and collaborative development workflows.

• Strong ability to explain complex concepts clearly and logically.
• Excellent task-structuring and independent time-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

• English: Fluent
• Japanese: Intermediate to Business level
