Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes to attract and retain talent
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to develop assessment and selection methods
  • Oversee offers, onboarding, and agency relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective hiring
  • Drive performance management processes and advise line managers on standards and feedback
  • Support Learning & Development initiatives and coordinate training rollouts across the country
  • Facilitate employee engagement surveys, focus groups, and action plans to improve workplace satisfaction
  • Support grievance and disciplinary processes and guide on people management issues
  • Maintain personnel records, HR systems, and ensure compliance with statutory and SOX requirements
  • Collaborate with the Total Rewards team on job evaluation, grades, titles, and salary structure

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above in Human Resources, Personnel Management, Psychology, or related field
  • More than 5 years of experience in HR with a proven track record in employee engagement, industrial relations, OD practices, and talent development
  • Understanding of HR laws, policies, and procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential issues with tact and diplomacy
  • Proficient in verbal and written Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

  • Experience in manufacturing organisations
