QA Engineer

As a member of our high-performing, English-speaking team, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of products that serve millions of users.

• Create detailed test plans and strategies customized for each assigned project
• Analyze product requirements and proactively clarify any gaps or concerns
• Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases based on deep domain knowledge and robust testing methodologies
• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and broaden coverage
• Contribute to QA department initiatives aimed at improving processes, tools, and overall product quality
• Drive continuous improvements in testing practices and actively share knowledge and best practices across teams
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and onboarding support to junior or new QA team members

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices
• Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman or equivalent
• Practical experience in test automation using any framework and programming language
• Proven ability to create and implement effective test plans and test strategies
• Experience working in agile or cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with test and issue management tools such as Jira, TestRail, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills, open-minded attitude, and a self-motivated approach to work

Preferred Skills and Experience

• ISTQB or JSTQB certification or equivalent practical knowledge
• Experience in leading QA teams ranging from small to medium size
• Experience in process improvement or QA process optimization
• A passion for challenges and solving problems from the ground up
• Experience in AI development and/or experience in using AI tools to improve development processes.

Language Requirements

• English: Business communication skills (TOEIC 700+ or equivalent)
• Japanese: N3 level or above
