Our client
Our client is a leading conglomerate in the energy and infrastructure sector, managing a diverse portfolio of businesses. They are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Director to lead financial operations across multiple business units, including core energy operations and non-energy commercial ventures. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and plays a key part in strategic financial planning and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings across group entities.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
Manage accounting teams including accounts payable, receivable, and costing.
Drive process improvements and system enhancements.
Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors, financial advisors, and banks.
Support financial planning across a group of 20+ subsidiaries.
Maintain financial ratios and conditions (e.g., D/E ≤ 2:1, DSCR ≥ 1.1).
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
High integrity and ability to work under pressure.
Good command of English.
