Hiring position: Product Engineer (Senior level) / Automotive business
Salary: 80,000 - 95,000 THB/ month
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Location: Rayong
- Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Engineering groups to ensure products conform
to specifications, especially under manufacturing constraints.
• Work closely with the Quality team to identify major warranty concerns and propose design solutions to resolve these issues.
• Lead DFM/DFA initiatives with cross-functional teams in
Rayong to identify and implement suitable processes that reduce complexity.
• Work with teams (PM, Quality, Manufacturing, PTC) to
establish and implement effective change management systems, including temporary TCR, permanent PCR, and supplier eSCR, to track design changes into production.
• Support and focus on activities aimed at reducing manufacturing costs,
scrap and reject rates at the plant.
• Communicate engineering-related issues (e.g., cost reduction
estimates, design reviews, change management) between the Homeroom PTC engineering
or another Homeroom and the Rayong plant.
• Interface and act on vehicle-level testing, data point evaluation
related to warranty concerns, and perform NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness)
evaluation/analysis at the manufacturing/vehicle level.
• Responsible for complying with and attending all safety and environmental
rules, procedures, and training.
• Maintain a professional demeanor, being tactful and diplomatic in all
team interactions.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of powertrain / driveline system & development engineering experience (Preferred).
Experience working with Automotive OEM or Tier Automotive (Preferred).
o CAD experience (Preferred).
o Applications/Systems engineering experience (Preferred).
o Strong knowledge of the Validation process and technical standpoint
requirements.
o Understanding of GD&T and component-level requirements.
Communication / Computer Skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English is essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, effective presentation skills, and a positive, eager-to-work attitude.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
