Job Overview: Skilled and detail-oriented MEP Draftsman to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing detailed Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and project specifications. This role requires proficiency in drafting software, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and construction teams.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Drafting and Design: Prepare detailed MEP drawings, including schematics, layouts, and plans using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.). Update and revise MEP drawings based on feedback from engineers and project managers. Ensure that all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements. 

Coordination: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems into overall project designs. Conduct regular meetings with project teams to review progress and address any design issues or discrepancies. Assist in the coordination of MEP installations on-site, ensuring accurate execution of designs. Documentation: Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and documentation. Prepare and manage material take-offs, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and other project documentation as required. Assist in the preparation of technical reports, specifications, and other documentation for project submissions. Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards. Review and verify vendor and contractor drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance. 

Support: Provide technical support to construction teams during the installation and commissioning phases. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to MEP designs.

 

Qualifications: 

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or a related field. 

Location: Sri city , Andhra Pradesh

Experience: Experience in MEP drafting within the construction industry. Proven experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).

 Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant Indian standards and codes for MEP design and construction. Understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
