Company and Job Overview
Our client is a recycling plant specializing in catalysts generated from oil refineries. They are seeking an experienced Analysis Manager to lead and oversee all analytical operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all laboratory operations for catalyst analysis at the recycling plant
- Operate and maintain advanced laboratory equipment (e.g., ICP-OES, XRF, GC, spectrometers)
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and environmental regulations through audits and documentation
- Interpret analytical data and prepare accurate reports for internal teams and clients
- Lead and train laboratory staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in analytical chemistry or catalyst processing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Hands-on experience operating laboratory equipment (ICP, XRF, GC, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of catalyst recycling processes and refinery operations
- Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and environmental compliance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Willing to be based in Kuantan, Pahang
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status
