Your New Role

• Develop and implement treasury strategies to optimize cash flow, working capital, and liquidity across operational markets, while aligning priorities with overall business goals.

• Lead regional cash forecasting and ensure sufficient liquidity to support business operations and investment plans.

• Manage relationships with banking partners and financial institutions, negotiating facilities and FX arrangements to maintain financial flexibility and cost efficiency.

• Oversee compliance with financial regulations and exchange control laws in Singapore, Bangladesh, and India, while maintaining strong internal controls.

• Coordinate cross-border cash movements and funding needs, acting as the Group Treasury liaison for country finance teams and providing guidance on operations and compliance.

• Support financial planning by delivering insights into liquidity and funding, preparing treasury reports, and collaborating with FP&A and accounting teams.

• Drive process improvements and automation in treasury operations, promoting best practices and systems across regional entities.

Key Qualifications for Success

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g. ACT, CFA) are a plus.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in corporate treasury, with regional exposure across Asia.

• Strong understanding of cash management, liquidity planning, FX risk, and banking operations.

• Proven ability to lead treasury strategy and operations across multiple countries.

• Familiarity with regulatory environments in Singapore, Bangladesh, and India.

• Proficient in treasury systems and digital banking platforms.

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluency in English, Bengali, and Hindi/Urdu is mandatory. This is a central and regional treasury role requiring frequent coordination with finance teams, banks, and operational sites in Bangladesh and India. As English proficiency is limited in these regions, fluency in Bengali and Hindi/Urdu is essential to ensure accuracy in financial discussions and clarity in communication.
