Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Japanese Speaking Lawyer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified legal professional with bilingual capabilities to work in a dynamic, cross-border legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal counsel to Japanese-speaking clients across corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
Draft, review, and translate legal documents in Japanese and English.
Liaise with clients, government agencies, and legal counterparts in Japan and internationally.
Conduct legal research and prepare reports and memoranda.
Support litigation, arbitration, and negotiation processes.
Qualifications:
Lawyer license.
Fluent in Japanese and English (spoken and written).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
Strong understanding of Japanese legal and business culture.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Preferred:
Experience working with Japanese clients or in Japan.
Additional language skills (e.g., Thai, Mandarin) are a plus.
Background in international law or cross-border transactions.
