JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Logistics Specialist will support the Logistics Department in managing and optimizing shipping and logistics operations. This role involves market analysis, client relationship management, and coordination of domestic and international logistics activities.
Provide operational support to the Logistics Department
Analyze shipping market trends and forecast developments
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
Design and improve logistics networks
Manage chartering and shipment operations
Oversee logistics processes for domestic, import/export, and tri-country trade
Maintain deep knowledge of logistics and the shipping industry
Leverage strong connections with logistics and shipping companies
Handle transportation contract negotiations with overseas customers
Negotiate trade terms with shipping companies
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
Prior working experience in a logistics or shipping company.
Familiarity with international trade, Incoterms, customs procedures, and freight operations.
Strong analytical skills for market data analysis and forecasting.
Proficiency in logistics planning and network optimization.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage chartering and shipment operations.
Knowledge of domestic and international logistics, including tri-country trade.
