Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including payables, receivables, and closing activities
• Oversee financial reporting aligned with Japanese GAAP and IFRS
• Manage tax filings, statutory reporting, and ensure full regulatory compliance
• Coordinate external audits and collaborate with auditors and tax advisors
• Strengthen internal controls and implement efficiency-driven process improvements
• Develop and mentor the finance team to foster professional growth and accuracy

Requirements:

• Experience in senior finance or accounting leadership within multinational organisations
• Prior experience managing audits, statutory filings, treasury, and tax in complex settings
• Knowledge of Japanese GAAP and IFRS
• Possess valid CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus
• Fluent level Japanese and English
