Position: Factory Manager (Machine Maker)
Salary: 70,000 – 100,000THB +/- (Negotiable)
Location: Ayutthaya
Our client is big brand manufacturing assembly process for machines.
Key Responsibilities of the position:
Production Management: Plan, organize, and direct daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and customer deadlines. This includes managing workflow, optimizing machine utilization, and coordinating with other departments.
Quality and Process Improvement: Implement and enforce strict quality control standards. Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives using principles like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Safety and Compliance: Ensure all factory operations adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA). Conduct regular safety audits and promote a culture of safety among all employees.
Financial and Budget Management: Develop and manage the departmental budget. Control costs by minimizing scrap, optimizing resource allocation, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
Equipment and Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all machinery, including CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other equipment. Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule preventative maintenance and address urgent repairs.
Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee all products and processes adhere to food safety regulations, including those set by organizations like the FDA, as well as internal quality standards like HACCP and GMP.
Project Management: Manage R&D projects from a technical and administrative perspective, including budgeting, resource allocation, and reporting progress to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment,
Extensive hands-on knowledge of various machining processes, including CNC programming, tooling, and setup.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
Communication skills in English.
