A multinational luxury retail brand is seeking an AR Accounting Manager. The selected candidate will oversee accounts receivable operations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting and sales-related transactions. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor sales activity and AR balances across stores and eCommerce
• Reconcile AR balances and review journal entries
• Create accounting estimates related to AR and sales
• Prepare AR documentation and communicate with auditors
• Develop AR aging reports and manage cash forecasting
• Support boutique operations and respond to internal inquiries
• Assist in improving internal controls and reconcile closing discrepancies
• Support accounting team and contribute to special projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Commerce)
• More than 5 years of experience in finance
• Possess a valid certified Professional Accountant or Certified Tax Accountant is a plus
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills
• Professional level Japanese; business level English
