Job description
Source and manage logistics providers across all transportation modes.
Negotiate and oversee logistics contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality.
Supervise import-export activities, ensuring full compliance with customs and BOI regulations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant policies and integrate them into operational processes.
Oversee receiving, warehousing, material handling, and shipping activities.
Ensure accurate inventory management and timely updates of SOPs.
Act as SAP key user; lead system implementation and improvement projects.
Coordinate internal and external audits (e.g., Customs, BOI, Revenue Department, Financial Auditors).
Facilitate communication and coordination across departments to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
Support the PC&L Manager in achieving departmental KPIs.
Mentor and support team members to meet individual and team objectives.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Implement and monitor safety protocols in logistics operations.
Conduct EHS training, hazard identification, and corrective actions.
Investigate incidents and ensure root cause resolution.
Maintain compliance with EHS standards and contribute to performance evaluations.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.
Track market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities in automotive supply chains.
Resolve supply chain disruptions and implement corrective actions to minimize production impact.
Support localization and supplier development initiatives to reduce lead times and costs.
Prepare procurement reports and forecasts for management review.
