・指定された製品または製品の生産スケジュールを計画、組織化、管理、実行し、プログラムの調整を含みます。
・顧客需要、製品需要プロファイル、および顧客に関する知識に基づいて生産スケジュールを策定します。
・顧客のスケジュールが内部に与える影響（例：ラインスケジュール、資材調達、ロジスティクス、出荷など）を分析します。
・実際のデータと計画の分析に基づき、必要に応じて計画を修正します。
・エンジニアリング変更に関連する問題を管理し、コストの増加、過剰な材料、顧客への出荷リスクを最小限に抑えます。
・製品ライフサイクルを通じて、製造計画を支援するための材料の可用性に関する情報を伝達します。
・顧客のボリューム変動を把握し、必要な材料を決定します。
・資材調達部門に需要の変動に関する情報を提供します。
・顧客への製品出荷に関する納期情報を策定し、伝達します。
・出荷のための必要なリソースを調整します。
・製品在庫の総量、在庫リスク、未処理注文、在庫可用性、および納期遵守状況に関するレビューと報告を実施します。
・出荷遅延が発生した場合のリカバリープランを策定します。
・計画プロセスの継続的な改善をリードします。
