Job Description

Position: Finish Product Assistant Manager - Logistics Coordinator
Salary: £ 30-32K + Bonus + Commutation fee
Location: London – Able to hybrid working 2-3 times / week at the office

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Company: Industrial-leading Japanese Oil company

Visa : Indefinite / Permanent

 

【Purpose of the role】
This role supports a stable Oil/Lubricant supply and quality control to enhance customer satisfaction, in line with the group strategy. By ensuring timely and complete deliveries and complying with logistics regulations, you’ll help maintain smooth operations and contribute to the company’s growth through effective collaboration.

 

【Responsibilities】

  • Supply Chain Management

  • Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requests

  • Keen on customer demand and forecast

  • Arrange shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders and export docs etc.)

  • Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers

  • Oversee the levels of our warehouse stock and place orders as needed

  • correct discrepancies between physical and system stock

  • If necessary, source the necessary product for the customer

  • Answer the customer inquiry in the first place

  •  

【Requirements】

  • [Mandatory]Work experience as a Logistics Coordinator/Administrator, Warehouse Administrator or similar role

     

  • [Mandatory]Expert understanding of Incoterms and import/export procedures for hopefully EU, and handling with customs agents and goods/shipments clearance,

  • [Mandatory]Experienced in using Vlookup or Pivot table in MS Excel.

  • Experienced in Oil/Lubricant, or chemical products as Logistics Coordinator would be a huge advantage.
  • Experience in using SAP would be an advantage.

     

  • Customer order management and the ability to negotiate with suppliers to meet customer delivery deadlines

  • Basic level knowledge in forecasting and re-order management to manage inventory

  • Knowledge of logistics software or transport management systems

  • IT literacy (Business level)

  • Basic financial accounting knowledge

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
