1. Localisation & Campaign Integration
• Work in close collaboration with headquarters to localise global campaigns for Japan.
• Ensure messaging resonates with Japanese stakeholders while staying aligned with global brand and marketing strategy.
• Provide market-specific insights during global campaign planning and content development.
2. Local Campaign Management
• Design and execute Japan-specific campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels, in coordination with HQ.
• Lead storytelling, promotional messaging, and communication strategies tailored to Japan’s fintech ecosystem.
• Oversee translation and cultural adaptation of global materials for the Japanese market.
3. Agency & Partner Management
• Manage relationships with local boutique agencies (creative, PR, media), ensuring high quality, cost-efficient execution.
• Collaborate with HQ to brief agencies and validate outputs aligned with brand guidelines.
4. Digital & Social Media • Lead Japan’s social media activities and digital community engagement.
• Develop and schedule original Japanese content while aligning with global campaigns and content calendars.
• Monitor local performance metrics and trends, sharing learnings with HQ.
5. Content Creation & Community Engagement
• Lead the creation and distribution of high-quality digital content (blogs, newsletters, videos, infographics, etc.) that positions as a thought leader in fintech.
• Grow and engage the online community through innovative digital initiatives and interactive content.
• Coordinate with the Content & Content Marketing team at HQ to ensure brand alignment and cross-channel consistency.
6. Website & SEO
• Maintain and update the Japan-specific section of the website.
• Coordinate with HQ's digital and marketing operations teams to ensure SEO alignment and consistency.
• Track performance and propose improvements based on analytics.
7. Analytics & Optimisation
• Monitor, analyse, and report on digital marketing performance using tools such as Google Analytics and HubSpot.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve digital strategy, campaign effectiveness, and user engagement.
• Work closely with HQ’s digital and marketing operations teams to align reporting frameworks and KPIs.
8. Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with the Japan Lead on community-building, events, and ecosystem engagement.
• In partnership with headquarters, collaborate with:
• Content & Content Marketing team – to adapt messaging and generate Japan-relevant materials
• CRM & Marketing Operations team – to align customer journeys, data capture, and outreach
• Digital Marketing team – to integrate paid media and SEO strategy
• Forums team – to support the promotion and positioning of Japan-based events and initiatives

• Demonstrated success in planning and executing multi-channel campaigns.
• Proficiency in managing social media, CMS platforms, SEO, and analytics tools.
• Experience working with agencies and global teams across multiple time zones.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
• International perspective and cultural fluency. • Strong interpersonal, project management, and storytelling skills.
