Organization Description

The CPaaS platform developed by our division is designed to enable companies to connect with their customers through various communication channels such as SMS and voice. Our CPaaS platform provides a comprehensive set of APIs that allow companies to easily integrate messaging and other communication functions into their existing systems.

As a Senior Front-End Developer for the CPaaS platform, you will be a member of our core development/engineering front-end team.

You will work closely with the development team using agile methods to release new features and improvements for the CPaaS front-end service.

You will work in a global team spanning Japan, India, and the UK, requiring coordination across different time zones.

Job Responsibilities

• Maximize the use of productivity tools such as JIRA and Confluence, participate in daily team huddles to report on work progress, and actively contribute to team-wide improvement projects.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and drive product improvements and new feature development.

• Develop responsive web applications and ensure seamless integration with backend services and API calls.

• Implement and maintain high-quality code following best practices and coding standards.

• Optimize application performance to deliver fast loading times and a smooth user experience.

• Stay updated on the latest front-end technologies and trends and integrate them into the development process.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design mockups and prototypes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum development methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

・Currently residing in Japan.

• 6+ years of experience in FE/full-stack software engineering

• 6+ years of proven experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Redux/application-level state management, Webpack, Yarn/npm, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, RESTful API, etc.

• Understanding of best practices for JavaScript/TypeScript

• Knowledge of cutting-edge CSS (css-in-js, css modules, css frameworks, etc.)

• Experience with middleware/server-side JS

• Solid understanding of web application system design

• Understanding of web security/session management

• Experience with Kubernetes deployment

• Full-stack experience/experience building BE APIs

• Experience with NestJS or similar Node.js frameworks

• Experience with continuous integration/delivery systems using Jenkins/Docker/Kubernetes

• Experience in developing test cases for large-scale unit tests and integration tests

• Experience in large-scale refactoring in rapidly changing products

• Experience with MaterialUI and expertise in component-based architecture

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• Fluency in English

• Strong communication and leadership skills. Actively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and resolve blockers.

• Ability to collaborate with remote teams across different time zones

• Ability to take full responsibility for tasks/features and independently complete high-quality work from start to finish.
