Sr. FP&A Analyst (No Japanese Required)

This position will cover FP&A for one of the APAC markets of the foreign Retail company.

This position will join Japan's FP&A team.

Japan is one of the biggest markets in APAC, so Japan covers some markets in the region.

This position will be based in Tokyo, but mainly will cover one of the APAC countries' markets.

Description

• Prepare and manage financial reports to support strategic planning and business operations.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the Retail industry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create accurate forecasts and budgets.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance financial performance.
• Monitor key performance indicators and highlight areas for improvement.
• Support the Accounting & Finance department in variance analysis and cost management initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations in financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Support the market development.

• FP&A experience
• Retail/FMCG/Consumer healthcare companies experience
• Fluency in Mandarin/Cantonese
• Fluency in English
• Japanese proficiency will be a plus, but it is NOT required to have Japanese proficiency
